Tim Gallegly was born in Amarillo, Texas. He received a degree in fine arts from Texas Tech University in 1972. After college, Tim moved to Albuquerque where he worked as a commercial artist and then owned an advertising agency. Since the 1980s, he and his wife, Patty, have lived in El Paso where he serves as president of the Guynes Printing Company.
Mr. Gallegly is a member of the El Paso Artists' Hall of Fame, inducted in 2005. This is Tim's first year being involved with the Toma Mi Corazon event, but it is not the first time he has donated his time and talent to nonprofits.
