From Michael Pace: "Born and raised in El Paso, this is my second year participating in the heart auction. Since I can remember, I have always been intrigued by the aspect of recreating the world around me. Through the years, I always found time to draw, paint, sketch, design and shoot photography on a somewhat regular basis. I was even an art major at UTEP at one time and majored in sculpture with Willie Ray Parish. I have now set up what I'd like to think is a permanent studio where I work and build my portfoloio to start presenting it to galleries for exhibit.
